The CEEC logo is the first application 3D-printed Cor-Ten type steel, and is being applied to the main entry signage for the CEEC mall in Shenzhen China. This application involved experimentation with material science coupled with 3D-printing. The task of working with Cor-Ten steel involved overcoming challenging obstacles, such as addressing issues with oxidation and high heat to achieve the desired degree of corrosion without destroying the structural integrity of the material. LuxMea overcame these obstacles after a series of test runs.
