A 1.5 Meter wide by 1.5 Meter high composite material panel prototype was developed by LuxMea and is envisioned to be part of a cladding system for buildings, both for exteriors in interior applications. The material, itself, as well as tyhe geometry of self-supporting architectural panels were developed by LuxMea. The material, based on a patent-pending combinations of raw materials, admixture, and agents was specifically developed for the 3D-printing process. The panels comply with ASTM E82 Fire ratings. The panels, themselves were also generated by optimizing material characteristics and structural geometry. Initial rapid prototyping tests were also run and developed with Generative Design software, and addition digital tools developed internally by LuxMea.
